Job Description

Security Practise Lead

Permanent

100k - 120k per annum

Remote with occasional nationwide travel across the UK

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Security Practice Lead to help build and mature our clients security services capability. The role spans three areas: defining and developing our security service portfolio, delivering those services to clients with consistency and quality, and supporting the sales team to win security business.

This is a hands-on, practitioner-level role with genuine influence over the direction of our security practice. You will work closely with delivery, sales, and pre-sales to ensure security is embedded across everything we take to market.

What You Will Do

Security Portfolio Development

  • Support the definition and development of Espria's Security Services portfolio: MDR, SIEM, Identity, Compliance, and AI SOC
  • Help productise security services with clearly defined scope, SLA, and pricing aligned to the standard service catalogue
  • Contribute to the security attach strategy, ensuring security services are embedded across platform bundles
  • Assist in developing Security+ and compliance offerings within the Modern Workplace and Cloud tiers
  • Keep the portfolio current - monitoring the threat landscape and recommending service enhancements where appropriate

Service Delivery & Automation

  • Lead the delivery of managed security services to clients, ensuring consistent, high-quality outcomes
  • Contribute to the development of standardised security delivery processes, reducing reliance on bespoke approaches
  • Work within Espria's automated remediation workflow - integrating Tenable, NinjaOne, and HaloPSA - to support detect-to-remediate capability
  • Identify opportunities to improve automation within security workflows and feed recommendations into the broader automation roadmap
  • Support onboarding of new security customers, ensuring a smooth transition onto the platform
  • Collaborate with operations and finance to develop visibility of security service performance and profitability

Sales & Pre-Sales Support

  • Work closely with the sales team to support security-led opportunities from qualification through to close
  • Lead technical discovery and scoping conversations with prospects and existing clients
  • Produce and present solution designs, security assessments, and proposals that clearly articulate business value
  • Support bid and tender responses where security expertise is required
  • Develop sales enablement materials - including service overviews, battle cards, and objection-handling guides - to upskill the sales team on security
  • Contribute to client-facing QBRs by presenting security performance data and identifying upsell opportunities

Technical Leadership

  • Act as a senior technical voice on security across delivery, sales, and client engagements
  • Provide guidance and support to the delivery team on security incidents and escalations
  • Maintain working relationships with key vendors including Microsoft (Sentinel, Defender) and Tenable
  • Contribute to Microsoft co-sell activity where security expertise adds value

What We Are Looking For

  • Proven experience designing and delivering managed security services in an MSP or MSSP environment
  • Strong hands-on expertise across MDR, SIEM (Microsoft Sentinel preferred), Identity, and endpoint security
  • Experience with vulnerability management tooling - Tenable or equivalent - and understanding of remediation workflows
  • Demonstrable ability to build and standardise service delivery - not just configure tools
  • Commercial awareness: able to think in terms of margin, attach rates, and recurring revenue
  • Strong communicator - able to present at board level and lead technical pre-sales conversations equally
