Careers Information and Systems Assistant
Full time (35 hrs/wk), permanent
Split place of work between Horizons (Reading, Berkshire) and Home
Salary range £25,000 to £27,000 pa plus benefits
We are seeking someone to join our Careers and Employability team to analyse and enhance our Careers platform (Target Connect). Using data and insight, you will analyse platform performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and present recommendations that support the ongoing development of the service.
Your work will help maximise the impact of the system for students, graduates and colleagues, enabling us to better promote careers events, opportunities and wider University initiatives.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to further develop their analytical and data management skills while making a tangible difference to the student experience and supporting graduate success.
Your accountabilities and responsibilities include:
- Develop the use and functionality of the careers platform, improving the user experience and maximizing its value to users
- Develop a suite of regular metrics and reports to inform teams and Academics of student journeys, destinations and outcomes
- Collect and analyse service usage data to identify trends and engagement and produce reports
- Ensure all systems and data use comply with Universitys policies, legislation and regulations
Our main requirements:
- Degree level qualification
- Experience working with systems and/or databases
- Ability to analyse and interpret data using Excel and Power BI
- Strong presentation skills, with the ability to present data to a variety of audiences in accessible and engaging way
