Mid-Level Security Engineer [$290k/yr+] TS/SCI-FS Poly with Security Clearance

Candidates must already possess an active Top Secret/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph to be considered.

Summary: • Perform security risk assessments, security contr ol assessments, and authorization documentation as a Delegated Authorizing Official Representative. • Apply expertise in system security engineering, ICD 503, and risk management processes to protect data and networks. • Collaborate with IT staff and leadership to evaluate cybersecurity posture and provide authorization recommendations.

Qualifications && Compensation: • Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience • Years of experience: 8+ years • Total Compensation: $290k+ yearly Job Description: • Identify overall security requirements for the protection of data and ensure implementation of appropriate security contr ols. • Perform and analyze security risk assessments, risk analysis, risk management processes, and security contr ol assessments. • Prepare risk assessments, plans of action, authorization recommendations, and security authorization documentation. • Ensure cybersecurity functions are incorporated into configuration management and system development processes. • Support security architecture development and the integration of legacy systems into operational environments. • Interact with technical staff and corporate leadership to define and achieve risk management objectives.
