AI Security Engineer

Our client is looking for a AI Security Engineer to configure security controls for AI driven coding tools.

Tasks:

·        Implement permissions, execution restrictions, network access controls, credential protection, and logging.

·        Integrate security configurations with Docker containers and Azure DevOps repositories and pipelines. Test controls, troubleshoot issues, and document remaining gaps.

·        Create support documentation and transfer knowledge to County staff.

·        Working, version-controlled security configurations.

·        Documented test results and operating procedures.

·        Completed handoff to County staff.

Environment: Claude Code; Codex; GitHub Copilot; Docker; Azure DevOps; Linux; Git; JSON; YAML; MCPs

NOTE: Local candidates only. Relocation not allowed. This position is hybrid, minimum 2 days per week onsite.

Location: Pontiac, MI  

Contract: 6 months

Skills Required:

5+ years of experience in the following:

·        Experience with Docker configuration and container security

·        Experience with Azure DevOps repositories, permissions, and pipelines

·        Experience with Linux administration and scripting.

·        Experience with Git, JSON, and YAML configuration management

·        Experience with a range of AI driven dev platforms including Claude-Code, GitHub Copilot, Codex

·        Experience using MCPs, Skills, and enterprise controls within Claude, GPT, and Copilot

 Skills Desired – A plus to have:

·        Experience securing AI development tools
