Job description

Job Title: IT/OT Project Specialist

Work Location: Raleigh, NC 27606

Assignment Duration: 6 months initially.

Work Arrangement: 100% on-site in Raleigh, NC.

This is a hands-on IT/OT support role that requires regular interaction with end users, IT equipment, infrastructure, vendors, and on-site activities.

Travel Required: Minimal travel may be required depending on business needs, but the position will be primarily based in Raleigh.

Job Description:

Must-Have Systems, Software, or Experience:
We are looking for an entry-level to early-career IT/OT professional with some hands-on IT support experience. We are NOT looking for a senior-level resource. The ideal candidate should have a good technical foundation, willingness to learn, and be comfortable working in a corporate/industrial IT environment.

Preferred skills and experience include:

  • Windows and general end-user IT support/troubleshooting
  • Laptop, desktop, monitors, docking stations, and peripheral support
  • Basic networking knowledge, including LAN/Wi-Fi, IP addressing, switches, and cabling
  • Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Teams
  • Hardware deployment, inventory, and IT asset management
  • Basic understanding of IT/OT environments or a strong interest in developing OT knowledge
  • ServiceNow exposure would be beneficial but is not required
  • Interest in learning IT demand management, including infrastructure and application demands, requirements gathering, business requests, documentation, approvals, and coordination with different IT teams
  • Ability to support projects and coordinate activities with vendors, infrastructure, network, application, and business teams
  • Good communication, organization, and documentation skills

The person will receive guidance and training on our internal processes, including ServiceNow, IT/OT processes, and infrastructure/application demand management. We are primarily looking for someone who is hands-on, technically curious, organized, willing to learn, and interested in growing into a broader IT/OT and IT Service Delivery role.
