Equity Trade Support Analyst

Our client is a leading quantitative trading and market-making firm seeking an Operations Analyst to support its growing ETF, cash equities, and options trading business. This individual will play a critical role in managing post-trade processes, partnering closely with traders, brokers, clearing firms, and internal stakeholders to ensure the seamless flow of transactions across global markets.

This role offers direct exposure to a fast-paced front-office trading environment and is ideal for someone looking to take ownership of key operational workflows while helping to build scalable infrastructure supporting a high-volume trading business.

What You'll Do

As a Trade Support Analyst, your responsibilities will include:

  • Own the full trade lifecycle for ETF, cash equities, and options products, including trade capture, confirmation, clearing, and settlement.
  • Compile and reconcile data from electronic and voice-executed trades.
  • Investigate and resolve erroneous, unmatched, or failed trades.
  • Monitor and control post-trade processes while proactively identifying and mitigating operational risk.
  • Serve as a liaison between traders, brokers, dealers, counterparties, exchanges, and clearing firms.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational workflows and reduce manual processes.
  • Build reports, tools, and dashboards to support trading operations.
  • Partner with technology and trading teams to enhance systems and data flows.
  • Continuously evaluate processes and implement improvements focused on efficiency, scalability, and risk management.
  • Coordinate counterparty onboarding, including KYC/AML documentation, compliance reviews, and stakeholder communication.

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in Trade Support, Operations, Middle Office, or Market Operations within financial markets.
  • Experience supporting equities, ETFs, options, or other listed products preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the trade lifecycle, including trade booking, reconciliation, confirmation, clearing, and settlement.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to perform under pressure.
  • Self-starter mentality with a willingness to take ownership and drive process improvements.
  • Comfortable working with large datasets and identifying discrepancies.
  • Experience leveraging Python, automation tools, AI tools, or workflow optimization technologies is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Competitive base salary and performance-based bonus.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance coverage.
  • Generous retirement savings plan with employer contribution.
  • Paid vacation and market holidays.
  • Collaborative, high-performance environment with significant opportunities for professional development.
  • Modern office environment with meals, snacks, social events, and wellness initiatives.
