Cloud Infrastructure Architect

Role Summary:
We are seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with strong experience in AWS and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). The role will design, implement, automate, and support secure, scalable, and highly available cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:
Design and manage infrastructure across AWS and OCI.
Administer Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Oracle Linux, and Amazon Linux environments.
Perform OS upgrades, patching, hardening, and migration activities.
Design and manage AWS VPCs, subnets, route tables, security groups, and network connectivity.
Manage AWS S3 buckets, including access controls, encryption, lifecycle policies, and backup considerations.
Configure corresponding OCI networking components, including VCNs, route tables, security lists, and network security groups.
Deploy and support Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads.
Develop and manage infrastructure using Terraform.
Automate configuration and operational tasks using Ansible.
Develop shell scripts and PowerShell scripts for administration and automation.
Implement monitoring, backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions.
Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, security, and performance issues.
Maintain architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and operational procedures.
Collaborate with application, security, network, and operations teams.

Required Qualifications:
Strong understanding of AWS and OCI cloud infrastructure.
Hands-on experience with AWS VPCs, subnets, route tables, security groups, and S3.
Experience with OCI VCNs, routing, security controls, and connectivity.
Strong administration experience with Red Hat, Oracle Linux, and Amazon Linux.
Hands-on experience with Linux OS upgrades, patching, and hardening.
Knowledge of cloud architecture, networking, security, and high-availability patterns.
Working knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration.
Hands-on experience with Terraform and Ansible.
Proficiency in shell scripting and PowerShell.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
Knowledge of IAM, load balancing, DNS, compute, storage, and monitoring services.
Experience with backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
Relevant AWS, OCI, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, or Linux certifications.
