Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES

Kforce's client in West Palm Beach, FL is seeking a Project Coordinator to support utility-scale Wind, Solar, and Battery Energy Storage projects within a growing renewable energy portfolio. This individual will partner closely with Senior Project Managers to help plan, coordinate, and execute projects from initiation through completion. The ideal candidate possesses strong organizational and communication skills, experience supporting infrastructure projects, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Experience in renewable energy, power generation, or large-scale environments is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support Project Managers with the planning, execution, and delivery of renewable energy projects
  • Coordinate project schedules, milestones, deliverables, and team activities
  • Participate in project meetings and document action items, decisions, and project updates
  • Monitor project progress and identify potential risks, issues, or schedule impacts
  • Assist with maintaining project documentation, reports, contracts, and correspondence
  • Prepare and distribute meeting minutes, presentations, proposals, and status updates
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, contractors, vendors, and clients to ensure project objectives are achieved
  • Help track project budgets, expenses, and cost performance
  • Ensure project information is organized, accurate, and maintained in accordance with company standards
  • Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying process efficiencies and best practices
  • Travel to project sites as needed to support field activities and project execution
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent professional experience
  • 2+ years of project coordination, project management support or related experience
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting infrastructure, renewable energy, utility, or industrial projects
  • Experience with project scheduling tools such as Smartsheet
  • Knowledge of SAP
  • Knowledge of Maximo
  • Experience with budget tracking, forecasting, and cost controls
  • Exposure to project planning, risk management, and project reporting
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
