This employer is a significant player in the high-voltage substation sector, contributing to the energy transition by realizing new build and modernization projects across Northeast Germany. They are seeking dedicated individuals to join their team in building and maintaining essential energy infrastructure.

The Role

• Assembly of steel structures in medium, high, and highest voltage switchgear (up to 380kV).
• Installation of high-voltage and medium-voltage equipment and electrical systems.
• Mounting of components such as high-voltage terminals, suspension, and support insulators.
• Assembly and disassembly of screwed and pressed connections, including pipe and cable fitting.
• Reviewing and marking up plan documents.

What You'll Need

• Completed vocational training as a locksmith, metalworker, industrial mechanic, construction mechanic, plant mechanic, or a comparable qualification.
• Professional experience in locksmithing or metal construction, preferably in the construction, mechanical engineering, energy technology, or metal processing industries.
• Experience in the safe handling of electrical installations is advantageous.
• A valid driver's license (Class B) and the willingness to travel to sites with your own vehicle.
• Readiness for regular on-site assignments from Monday to Thursday, including overnight stays in Northeast Germany.
• Good German language skills and a self-motivated work style.
