This employer is a key player in the energy infrastructure sector, contributing significantly to the energy transition in Germany. They are seeking a skilled metalworker to join their team and help build and modernize substations, playing a vital role in shaping a sustainable energy future.

The Role

• Constructing steel structures within medium, high, and extra-high voltage substations (up to 380kV).
• Installing high and medium voltage equipment, including electrical systems and components.
• Performing assembly and disassembly of bolted and pressed connections, as well as pipe and cable mounting.
• Maintaining and updating technical documentation through revisions of plans.
• Collaborating with colleagues on new construction and modernization projects.

What You'll Need

• Completed apprenticeship in a relevant trade, such as metalworker, industrial mechanic, construction mechanic, or plant mechanic.
• Demonstrated experience in metalwork, preferably within construction, mechanical engineering, energy technology, or manufacturing.
• Familiarity with electrical systems is a plus.
• Possess a Class B driver's license and a willingness to travel to project sites with a personal vehicle.
• Readiness for regular on-site assignments, including overnight stays.
• Good German language skills and an independent, motivated work ethic.
