Job Title: Python Developer – FastAPI & Azure

Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Python Developer with strong expertise in FastAPI and Microsoft Azure services to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance applications. The ideal candidate will have experience building RESTful APIs, developing backend services, and deploying cloud-based solutions using Azure.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Python.
• Build scalable and secure RESTful APIs using FastAPI.
• Develop, integrate, and optimize application services and backend components.
• Utilize Microsoft Azure services to deploy, manage, and monitor cloud-based applications.
• Integrate APIs with databases, third-party services, and other enterprise applications.
• Implement authentication, authorization, error handling, logging, and API security best practices.
• Write clean, reusable, maintainable code and perform unit testing and debugging.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and application support.
• Follow best practices for version control, CI/CD, and cloud application development.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Python programming.
• Practical experience developing APIs and backend services using FastAPI.
• Experience working with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, HTTP protocols, and API integration.
• Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms, including OAuth 2.0 or JWT.
• Familiarity with Git, unit testing, debugging, and software development best practices.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
