Senior COBOL Mainframe Developer

• Strong experience in COBOL, CICS, DB2, and IBM MQ.
• Experience with mainframe application development and maintenance.
• Good knowledge of DB2 SQL, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Experience with online transactions, batch processing, and system integration.
• Mandatory healthcare or health insurance domain experience, preferably in claims processing.

• Develop, enhance, and maintain COBOL mainframe applications.
• Work with CICS, DB2, and IBM MQ for transaction processing and integration.
• Write SQL queries and troubleshoot data-related issues.
• Perform coding, debugging, unit testing, and defect fixing.
• Resolve production issues and identify root causes.
• Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, and developers.
• Participate in code reviews and support application releases.

• JCL, VSAM, and batch processing.
• Healthcare payer systems and claims processing.
• CI/CD, DevOps, Endevor, or Changeman experience.
