Job description

Senior Fund Accountant - UCITS

Employment type: Contract starting ASAP

Kepler Search is currently supporting a well-established financial institution in Luxembourg that is hiring for a Senior Fund Accountant to support the accounting and administration of UCITS funds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform and oversee the calculation of NAVs.
  • Participate in the calculation and recording of fees.
  • Investigate risks and assess their impact on NAVs.
  • Ensure the accurate maintenance of accounting records for Luxembourg investment funds.
  • Ensure accounting processes comply with internal procedures and applicable UCITS regulations.
  • Support billing and coordinate with stakeholders regarding KPIs.
  • Coordinate with clients, tax authorities and auditors.
  • Review the work of Fund Accountants across offshore teams.
  • Participate in process improvement and automation initiatives.

Skills Needed:

  • Professional fluency in English and French.
  • A minimum of 4 years' experience working as a Fund Accountant within the financial services industry in Luxembourg.
  • Experience with accounting principles, including Lux GAAP and IFRS.
  • A minimum of 4 years' experience working with UCITS funds.
