Fund Accountant - Real Estate, Infrastructure, Private Debt & Private Equity

The position of Fund Accountant is held within the Central Administration team. In this role, you will be in charge of Fund accounting for complex structures investing in Real Estate, Infrastructure, Private Debt and Private Equity in order to process operations properly in due time and with respect to the Accounting Principles (Lux GAAP, IFRS, etc.) requirements of these structures.

It will be the responsibility of the contractor to ensure that the agreed timeline is respected and to report any issues in due course. He will also be in charge of reviewing the production of other members of the team.

Your Mission:

• Perform NAV calculation and oversight on the NAV calculation, including portfolio valuation booking and investor activities, and investigate potential risks during the reporting period, including ongoing monitoring and compliance
  
• Anticipate potential risk and impact on the NAV calculation and transactions, escalate issues and contribute to the resolution of issues/queries
  
• Ensure that all duties of a Custodian, Depositary (Safekeeping) and Transfer Agency are applied and respected, while ensuring services are in alignment with group decisions and global operating models
  
• Support client billing and liaise with key stakeholders for KPIs during the reporting period
  
• Review and approve the work of fund accountants in offshore Operations Teams
  

Experience and Skills:

Essential:

• 5 years of experience in Fund accounting with a focus on financial services and fund structures
  
• Ability to multi-task, well organised and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment
  
• Good knowledge of IFRS, Lux GAAP and/or US GAAP
  
• Ability to communicate with various providers (internally and externally)
  
• Knowledge of business strategy and priorities, as well as excellent understanding of bank business operations and processes and quality execution experience
  
• Ability to represent the company internally and externally
  

Desirable:

• ACCA qualification or equivalent would be considered an asset
  
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance
  

Languages: Fluent in French and English
