Job Description

Le Grand & Associates is currently recruiting on behalf of a leading regulated financial institution (PSF) in Luxembourg. To support their expanding activities, we are seeking an experienced Senior Fund Accountant (M/F/D).

Role Overview

As a Senior Fund Accountant, you will take ownership of Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations and 2nd-level controls for a range of Luxembourg funds in accordance with Local GAAP, IFRS, internal procedures, and international standards. You will play a key role in maintaining a "Zero Default Quality" standard, mitigating operational risks, and acting as a trusted operational partner for clients and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform and control Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations while strictly respecting publication cut-offs.

  • Conduct and verify reconciliations (cash, securities, shares in issue) and ensure all discrepancies are investigated and resolved.

  • Monitor pending items, escalating long-standing or high-impact issues to management.

  • Validate out-of-tolerance market pricing using standard market pricing sources.

  • Identify and monitor operational/financial risks using internal Self Risk Assessment tools; report any errors or risks affecting client duties immediately.

  • Facilitate Year-End closing and audit processes: ensure timely availability of documents and respond to auditor queries within two business days.

  • Support key operational projects, including fund migrations, restructuring, and launches.

  • Perform 2nd-level validation checks and ensure compliant archiving of NAV packs.

  • Assist in training junior team members and driving continuous improvement of internal operating procedures.

Candidate Profile
  • Experience: Proven track record in Luxembourg Fund Accounting.

  • Technical Skills: Strong command of Local GAAP / IFRS, ISAE 3402 standards, and fund lifecycle management.

  • Languages: Professional fluency in English and French (bilingual corporate environment).

  • Soft Skills: High level of accuracy, strong risk awareness, ability to work under strict cut-off deadlines, and excellent communication skills.

What the Client Offers
  • An attractive remuneration package including financial and extra-legal benefits.

  • A professional, structured, and modern work environment within a key market player.

  • Continuous learning opportunities and career evolution.
