Our client is a leading national retailer known for delivering innovative, customer-centric experiences across digital and in-store channels. With a strong focus on Marketing Technology, Loyalty, and customer engagement, they are investing in enterprise-scale technology initiatives that shape how millions of guests interact with their brand every day.
We are partnering with our client to identify an experienced Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead complex, cross-functional technology programs supporting their Marketing and Loyalty organizations. This individual will play a key role in driving delivery across multiple engineering and business workstreams in a fast-paced, enterprise retail environment.

Job Description
The Technical Program Manager will lead end-to-end delivery of complex technology initiatives, partnering closely with Engineering, Product, UX, Marketing, and business stakeholders. The ideal candidate is an experienced technical program leader who excels in ambiguous, fast-paced enterprise environments, can effectively balance competing priorities, and communicates clearly with both technical teams and executive leadership.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of complex technical programs spanning multiple engineering and business teams.
  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts across Engineering, Product, UX, Marketing, and other business stakeholders.
  • Develop and manage program plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, and delivery timelines.
  • Drive alignment across multiple teams to ensure successful execution and on-time delivery.
  • Facilitate program governance, including executive status reporting and stakeholder communications.
  • Identify and proactively resolve risks, blockers, and cross-team dependencies.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to establish roadmaps, delivery strategies, and implementation plans.
  • Track program health, delivery metrics, and key milestones.
  • Promote program management best practices and continuous process improvement.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong technical program delivery experience, excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, and the ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on program execution. Strong problem-solving, risk management, and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager, Program Manager, or Technical Project Manager supporting enterprise technology initiatives.
  • Proven experience leading large, cross-functional technical programs involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile delivery methodologies.
  • Experience managing dependencies across multiple engineering teams and technical workstreams.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority and build alignment across organizations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting to both technical teams and executive leadership.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience using Jira, Confluence, or similar Agile program management tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting Marketing Technology (MarTech), Loyalty, CRM, customer engagement, or digital product initiatives.
  • Retail or consumer-facing technology experience.
  • Experience working within large enterprise organizations.
  • Experience coordinating complex technical programs involving multiple systems and cross-functional teams.
