Job Description

Program Manager / Technical Project Manager

Location: Cary, NC (Onsite)

Experience: 12+ Years

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of AWS Data Engineering and Application platform initiatives.
  • Own project planning, execution, governance, RAID management, stakeholder communication, and executive reporting.
  • Manage cross-functional teams comprising Data Engineering, .NET, Angular, QA, DevOps, and Cloud teams.
  • Drive dependency management, release planning, risk mitigation, and project recovery for critical engagements.
  • Interface with client leadership, product owners, architecture teams, and business stakeholders.

Mandatory Skills

  • Strong Project/Program Management experience in Data & Application management projects.
  • Hands-on understanding of:
    • AWS Glue
    • PySpark
    • Data Lake / Lakehouse Architecture
    • Apache Iceberg
    • SQL / Data Modeling
    • AWS Services (S3, IAM, Lake Formation)
  • Understanding of application development using:
    • .NET / REST APIs
    • Angular
  • Experience managing Agile/Scrum delivery teams.
  • Strong client-facing communication and executive stakeholder management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP / PRINCE2 / SAFe / Scrum certifications.
  • Experience in Financial Services, Tax Reporting, Wealth Management, or Enterprise Reporting platforms.
  • Experience managing complex multi-team dependencies and recovery of RED projects.
