Job Description

Job Title: Sr Java / J2EE Programmer (Hibernate / JPA / JSF / Spring Boot / Google Cloud Platform)

Job ID: HBITS-08-14995

Location: State Offices Harriman Campus, Building 12, Albany, NY  12240 (Hybrid role)

Duration: 30 months

Client / Dept.: New York State Department of Labor

Rate: $60/hr on C2C (All incl.)

 

WebEx (Virtual) interview needed

 

At least 8+ yrs. of resume needed for submission.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • 60 months of experience developing SOA/Microservices based N-Tier Web Applications using J2EE, industry standard patterns, and Agile methodologies
  • Integrate application components into functional services and/or processes exposed as web service (REST/SOAP)
  • Analyze, develop, and apply rules/logic as defined in requirements.
  • Perform cross-platform application and database integration and deployments.
  • Perform code quality reviews and corrections at unit and integration levels for self and team."
  • 60 months experience developing complex relational database queries with particular focus on Object Relation Mapping (Hibernate/JPA).
  • 36 Months experience using JSF development/JavaScript
  • 36 Months experience using Spring Boot
  • 24 Months experience using Cloud infrastructure platforms, such as Google Cloud Platform
  • 36 Months experience using GitHub/GitLab repository
  • 60 months using modern IDE’s preferably Eclipse and/or IBM’s Design/Development tool stack: (i.e., Rational Application Developer (RAD/IID), WebSphere Message Broker/IBM Integration Bus).
  • 60 months experience using solution design software (Examples: MS Visio) to interpret UML diagrams, creating of Service Models, Service Classification Diagrams, Activity Diagrams and Sequence Diagrams, for model-driven development in Rational Application Developer (RAD/IID).
