Job Description:

The Senior SPMO Business Intelligence Analyst uses strong consultative and analytical skills to elicit or identify business and technical requirements, evaluate solutions, and recommend approaches that support project and operational objectives. This role serves as a liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams to drive the successful delivery and ongoing support of new and enhanced processes, products, and services on time and within budget.


Responsibilities:
  • Partnering with stakeholders to gather and translate business needs into technical requirements.
  • Supporting the development and maintenance of BI solutions, semantic layers, and data products.
  • Analyzing large datasets to generate insights for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Facilitate meetings to define requirements, roadmaps, priorities, and deliverables.
  • Facilitate refinements and planning meetings for agile team in accordance with roadmap.
  • Create and maintain user stories, requirements, and delivery documentation.
  • Maintain and refine the prioritized backlog in concert with the Product Owner.
  • Align priorities, requirements, deliverables, and timelines with stakeholders.
  • Translate ServiceNow and Saviynt support requests into prioritized user stories.
  • Coach team members on Agile practices, analysis techniques, and tools.
  • Promote collaboration and communication to manage change and deadlines.
  • Translate technical concepts for business and technology stakeholders.
  • Create technical maps for integrations, data flows, and system interfaces.
  • Build stakeholder and vendor relationships through active listening.
  • Deliver clear, audience-specific communications and supporting detail.
  • Analyze trends and insights to support leadership decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with company audit requirements.
  • Present multi-source data trends, patterns, and insights to leadership.
  • Build SQL queries as needed, map data, elicit requirements, and support estimates.
  • Use gap and impact analysis to reduce product inefficiencies.
  • Lead department initiatives with limited supervision.
  • Provide mentoring and training to junior team members.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Science, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Business Intelligence, or a related quantitative discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • Master’s degree in Information Systems, Data Science, or Business Administration is preferred.
  • Certifications in Agile-scrum preferred.
  • 10+ years of business analysis experience required, including Business Systems Analyst experience.
  • 5+ years’ experience modeling and mapping business processes, writing SQL queries, and supporting integration mapping.
  • 5+ years’ experience eliciting requirements, facilitating project and enhancement planning, and creating technical documentation.
  • 2+ years experience with Azure DevOps - ADO, Agile, Kanban, and product ownership required.
  • Project management experience (minimum 2 years) is preferred, including leading cross-functional initiatives and managing timelines and deliverables. Experience with OnePlan is preferred but not required.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Skilled in stakeholder engagement, consensus building, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Advanced proficiency in BI tools (e.g., ADO, Power BI, Qlik, MicroStrategy).
  • Understanding of machine learning concepts and data architecture.
  • Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, and the payments industry.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and adaptable to changing priorities.
