Power BI Developer

This is an onsite work position based in Tallahassee,FL. Apply only if you are willing to relocate.

Education: A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field.

Certifications:  In the field

Required Experience:

1.       Experience in Business Intelligence and at least two years of experience developing dashboards and reports in Microsoft Power BI.

2.       Experience with IBM DB2 databases is must

Job Specific Knowledge, skills and abilities (KSA)

1.       Experience building dashboards and reports leveraging Microsoft Power BI.

2.       Experience developing paginated reports in Power BI

3.       Strong SQL skills.

4.       Well versed in data governance best practices

5.       Familiarity with data management concepts such as Data Warehousing, Operational Data Stores, Data Lakes, and Master Data Management

6.       Experience creating reports presenting financial data such as general ledger data, purchasing data, or revenue data.

7.       Familiarity with advanced data structures such as OLAP cubes and Star/Snowflake Schema.

8.       Knowledge of how Power BI integrates with other Microsoft tools such as Power Automate, Power Apps, Power Point, and Teams.

9.       Analytical thinking for converting data into relevant reports and graphics.

10.   Understanding of how to implement solutions with multiple data sources.

11.   Experience with IBM DB2 databases.

12.   Knowledge of Mainframe flat files.

13.   Knowledge of the SCRUM Framework.

Preferred KSAs:

1.       Experience with Oracle Datawarehouse.

2.       Knowledge of mainframe programming languages, computer systems and supporting software.

3.       Knowledge of financial systems such as an ERP.

4.       Experience with WebFOCUS
