DTS is looking for experienced ServiceNow Architect for a direct client position in Lansing, MI 

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Architect to lead the design, architecture, implementation, and optimization of ServiceNow solutions across the enterprise. 

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in the ServiceNow platform, enterprise architecture, integrations, ITSM, and related ServiceNow modules.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, secure, and high-performing ServiceNow solutions aligned with business and technical requirements.
• Define the overall ServiceNow architecture, technical standards, design patterns, and best practices.
• Lead ServiceNow implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and platform modernization initiatives.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, and technical teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to ServiceNow developers and administrators.
• Design and oversee integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise applications using REST, SOAP, APIs, IntegrationHub, MID Server, and web services.
• Develop and maintain ServiceNow data models, workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and scripting standards.
• Provide architecture and technical guidance across ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, CSM, HRSD, SecOps, and CMDB as required.
• Design and maintain a robust CMDB, including CSDM, Discovery, Service Mapping, and Configuration Item relationships.
• Ensure ServiceNow solutions follow security, governance, performance, scalability, and maintainability standards.
• Evaluate new ServiceNow features and capabilities and recommend improvements to existing solutions.
• Lead technical reviews, architecture assessments, code reviews, and solution design sessions.
• Develop technical documentation, architecture diagrams, integration specifications, and implementation plans.
• Troubleshoot complex platform, integration, performance, and configuration issues.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, application development, and enterprise architecture teams.
• Support ServiceNow upgrades, release management, testing, deployment, and production support activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience working with the ServiceNow platform, with significant experience in an architecture or technical leadership role.
• Strong experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale ServiceNow solutions.
• Deep knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM and familiarity with ITOM, ITAM, CMDB, CSM, HRSD, or SecOps.
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow scripting, including JavaScript, Glide APIs, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, and UI Policies.
• Hands-on experience with REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, MID Server, and third-party integrations.
• Strong understanding of CMDB, CSDM, Discovery, and Service Mapping.
• Experience with ServiceNow governance, architecture standards, security, performance optimization, and platform best practices.
• Experience leading technical teams and working with business and technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.
• Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification.
• Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications.
• Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or Certified Master Architect (CMA) is a plus.
• Experience with ServiceNow HAM, SAM, SecOps, ITOM, CSM, or HRSD.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, source control, and automated deployment practices.
