Job Title:  IT Asset Management
Duration: 10/05/2026 to 09/30/2027
Location: 100% remote
Pay rate: $37/hr on W2
Schedule: 40 hr work week.  8:00am - 5:00pm

“The hiring team is seeking a highly organized, analytical, and detail-oriented professional to support contract and software license management activities. The position will focus primarily on the business and operational side of license management rather than the technical administration of licensing platforms.

This role was created due to increased workload and continued business growth. The product line has expanded significantly, and additional support is needed to manage the growing contract and licensing portfolio.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage software licenses, including start dates, expiration dates, renewals, license counts, and requests for new licenses.
• Monitor vendor agreements and support ongoing contract compliance.
• Coordinate contract renewals and new agreements with procurement.
• Work directly with suppliers, resellers, procurement, and internal technical teams.
• Support software provisioning activities across business sites.
• Assist with license cost tracking and related financial analysis.
• Manage multiple priorities and cross-functional workflows in a fast-paced environment. 

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of relevant experience, preferably in software license management, IT asset management, contract administration, or a closely related area.
• Software license management experience is the strongest priority.
• Financial analysis experience is highly desirable and considered a strong secondary qualification.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational ability, multitasking, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience working with suppliers, resellers, or procurement teams.
• A bachelor’s degree is preferred but not mandatory. Candidates with an associate degree or no bachelor’s degree may be considered when supported by relevant experience.
• Candidates with licensing experience from environments such as Cisco may be considered.
• There is no stated maximum experience level. More experienced candidates will be considered, provided they understand the scope of the assignment and are comfortable performing the hands-on work.
