Position: Salesforce Business Solution Architect

Location: Remote

Duration: 6-9 Months Long-Term Contract

Description:

The Salesforce Business Solution Architect is responsible for designing the functional architecture for Salesforce implementations. They translate business requirements into for Salesforce and integrated systems. This role requires a deep understanding of Salesforce products, features, and surrounding technologies like databases, integration middleware, and APIs.

Revenue cloud/Agentforce Business solution Architect. Person really needs to have done at least 2 implementations, enterprise level preferrable, ARM familiarity.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Architecture Design: Creating complex Salesforce system architectures that can span multiple Salesforce clouds and external systems.
  • Technical Leadership: Serving as the technical lead for implementation teams, which involves reviewing code, setting best practices, and mentoring developers.
  • Integration Oversight: Overseeing the integration of Salesforce with other enterprise systems such as ERP and legacy databases.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Working closely with business stakeholders to understand their processes and goals, and translating them into technical solutions.

This involves:

  • Designing Integration Solutions: Architecting and designing integrations between Salesforce.com and other applications using batch, near real-time, and real-time patterns.
  • API Strategy: Defining and implementing API-led integration strategies using REST and SOAP APIs.
  • Middleware and Tools: Working with various integration tools and middleware platforms to connect different business systems.
  • Data Governance: Architecting strategies for enterprise data integration and governance.
  • CPQ Solution Implementation: Configuring Salesforce CPQ to handle product bundles, pricing rules, quote calculations, and approval workflows based on business requirements.
  • Business Process Design: Collaborating with sales and finance teams to gather requirements for quote generation processes.
  • System Integration: Ensuring that CPQ integrates seamlessly with other systems, such as passing closed quote data to an ERP or billing system.
  • Technical Leadership in CPQ: Leading technical design sessions, producing architecture artifacts like data models and integration specifications, and ensuring alignment with enterprise standards. This also includes performance tuning, data migration, and release management for large-scale CPQ programs.

In addition:

  • Leading Migration Workstreams: Serving as the technical lead for large-scale data migration projects, overseeing the transition of complex datasets into Salesforce.
  • Architecting Migration Frameworks: Designing scalable and secure migration frameworks that can handle large data volumes while adhering to security standards and platform limitations.
  • End-to-End Data Lineage: Defining and overseeing the entire data migration process, including data profiling, cleansing, transformation mapping, and reconciliation.
  • Strategic Guidance: Acting as a trusted advisor to clients on long-term data strategy, archival policies, and master data management (MDM) roadmaps.
  • Release Management: Driving release management strategies for large-scale programs, which is a key aspect of ARM.
