Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Temporal Architect / Solutions Architect with strong expertise in Temporal.io, distributed systems, and cloud-native application architecture. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing scalable workflow solutions, guiding development teams, and leading enterprise modernization initiatives using Temporal.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement workflow orchestration solutions using Temporal.io.
• Build scalable, resilient, and cloud-native application architectures.
• Develop POCs and provide technical guidance using Java, Golang, TypeScript, Python, C#, or PHP.
• Define workflow design, activities, workers, task queues, retries, timeouts, and versioning strategies.
• Integrate applications using REST APIs, gRPC, and event-driven architectures.
• Ensure production readiness with security, observability, monitoring, scalability, and performance best practices.
• Conduct architecture reviews, technical workshops, and design sessions.
• Collaborate with developers, DevOps, QA, and business stakeholders throughout project delivery.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of Solution/Application Architecture experience.
• Hands-on experience with Temporal.io.
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems and microservices architecture.
• Experience with Java, Golang, TypeScript, Python, C#, or PHP.
• Experience with REST APIs, gRPC, Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD.
• Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Camunda, Appian, Pega, IBM BPM, or similar workflow platforms.
• Knowledge of Saga patterns, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and event-driven architecture.
• Temporal Cloud or cloud certification is a plus.
