Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Project Manager to lead and oversee complex IT projects across multiple functional organizations. In this pivotal role, you will direct project teams through the design, implementation, and modification of enterprise-level IT initiatives. Your expertise will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet all technical and business requirements. Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage one or more project teams engaged in the development, implementation, and modification of IT projects.
• Prepare comprehensive project execution plans and identify the necessary technical and business resources.
• Ensure timely project delivery, adherence to budget constraints, and fulfillment of technical specifications.
• Provide technical and analytical guidance to project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Stay current with advancements in the IT field to incorporate innovative solutions.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to align project goals and expectations.
• Manage project risks, issues, and changes effectively to maintain project momentum.
• Oversee project documentation, reporting, and communication with executive leadership.

Requirements:

• High School diploma with 9 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree with 7 years, or a Bachelor's degree with 5 years, or a Master's degree or higher with 3 years, or a PhD with no experience required.
• Proven experience managing enterprise-level IT projects, preferably in heavily regulated industries such as defense or government contracting.
• Proficiency in project management software, including Microsoft Project and ServiceNow PPM Module.
• Expert knowledge of multiple project management methodologies, including PMP certification.
• Demonstrated success managing multiple concurrent projects within complex organizational structures involving outsourced partners and managed service providers.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Technical background with excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting complex information to non-technical and executive audiences.
• Strong financial acumen with experience managing complex budgets.
• Experience in shipbuilding or manufacturing industries is highly desirable.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity while establishing appropriate structure.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Planner Premium and AI-powered project management tools for predictive scheduling, resource optimization, and risk analysis.
• Demonstrable understanding of AI concepts as they relate to project management and IT operations.
