Required Skills

  • 3+ Years of Experience as a Scrum Master
  • 3+ Years of Experience with Azure DevOps
  • 3+ Years of Experience with Leading Scrum Ceremonies.
  • 3+ Years of Experience with DB Querying and Programming
  • 3+ Years of Experience with Agile Project Management Tools
  • + Years of Experience with hybrid project management (Agile combined with Waterfall)
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree - field of study is open but the degree must be complete and verifiable

Preferred Skills

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Certification in Agile methodologies like Professional Scrum Master (PSM).
  • Government Experience
  • ERP Experience

Scope of the project:

  • The South carolina department of administration division of enterprise applications is seeking an experienced scrum master to guide daily activities.
  • As a Scrum master, you will facilitate and coordinate Agile Scrum processes within our organization, ensuring the team can work collaboratively and efficiently to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • This position is responsible for removing impediments and facilitating Scrum ceremonies to include daily standups, sprint planning, backlog refinement and sprint retrospectives.  You will work closely with the product owners, stakeholders, and product development teams to ensure that the work progresses on schedule, within budget, and to the desired level of quality.  Additionally, you will serve as a coach and mentor to our team – helping to foster a culture of continuous improvement and ensuring that the team is meeting its objectives consistently.

Daily Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate Scrum activities such as daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint review, and sprint retrospective. Ensure team follows Scrum framework and agile principles.
  • Promote continuous improvement through retrospective and feedback sessions.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
  • Track KPIs and help teams deliver high-quality products/solutions on time.

Additional Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Agile Scrum principles and practices.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Required Education/Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree

Preferred Education/Certifications:

  • Certification in agile methodologies such as certified scrum master or professional scrum master
