Dell Boomi Architect

We are looking for an experienced Dell Boomi Architect to design, develop, and implement scalable enterprise integration solutions using the Boomi AtomSphere platform. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in integration architecture, API management, cloud and on-premises integrations, and enterprise application connectivity.

The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, and development teams to define integration strategies, establish best practices, and deliver secure, reliable, and high-performing integration solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end integration architecture using Dell Boomi AtomSphere.

• Lead the development of complex integrations between enterprise applications, cloud platforms, databases, and on-premises systems.

• Define integration patterns, architecture standards, reusable components, and development best practices.

• Design and implement REST and SOAP APIs using Boomi API Management capabilities.

• Develop and maintain Boomi processes, maps, connectors, business rules, and exception-handling mechanisms.

• Configure and manage Boomi Atoms, Molecules, Atom Clouds, environments, deployments, and runtime infrastructure.

• Integrate enterprise systems such as Salesforce, SAP, Workday, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, and other third-party applications.

• Implement secure data exchange using OAuth 2.0, certificates, encryption, and other appropriate security mechanisms.

• Optimize integration performance, scalability, reliability, and error recovery.

• Establish monitoring, logging, alerting, and troubleshooting procedures for production integrations.

• Lead integration design reviews, technical discussions, and architecture assessments.

• Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and environment management.

• Ensure data quality, governance, compliance, and adherence to enterprise integration standards.

• Mentor developers and provide technical leadership throughout the integration development lifecycle.

• Prepare architecture diagrams, technical specifications, integration mappings, and operational documentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in enterprise integration, middleware, or integration architecture.

• Strong hands-on experience with Dell Boomi AtomSphere and its integration capabilities.

• Proven experience designing and implementing complex enterprise integration solutions.

• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, SOAP web services, JSON, XML, WSDL, and API integration patterns.

• Experience with Boomi connectors, process design, data mapping, document handling, and exception management.

• Hands-on experience configuring Boomi Atoms, Molecules, runtime environments, and deployments.

• Experience integrating cloud applications, on-premises systems, databases, and external services.

• Strong understanding of SQL, relational databases, data transformation, and data synchronization.

• Knowledge of authentication, authorization, API security, encryption, and secure data transfer.

• Experience with integration monitoring, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and production support.

• Familiarity with version control, CI/CD, automated deployment practices, and release management.

• Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
