AI Enablement Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES

Kforce has a client in Charlotte, NC that is seeking an AI Enablement Engineer.

Summary

The Enablement Engineer is a senior hands-on engineering role responsible for accelerating adoption of enterprise AI platforms across Lines of Business (LOBs). Reporting to the Head of AI Platform, this role is aligned to a designated CIO organization and is accountable for enabling rapid delivery of high-value AI Solutions. This position combines deep technical expertise in Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and agentic AI with a focus on solution delivery, reusable patterns, and enterprise enablement. The role ensures solutions are scalable, secure, and compliant with organizational standards for responsible AI.

Solution Delivery & CIO Alignment

• Partner directly with an assigned CIO organization as the primary GenAI engineering lead
• Design, develop, and deploy GenAI solutions from ideation through production
• Accelerate delivery of high-value use cases through hands-on engineering and solutioning
• Guide teams in leveraging enterprise AI platform capabilities effectively

AI Platform Enablement:

• Drive adoption of enterprise AI platforms (e.g., Azure AI, AWS Bedrock, internal platforms)
• Translate platform capabilities into practical implementation patterns
• Align use cases to enterprise AI strategy, standards, and governance requirements
• Serve as a liaison between centralized AI platform teams and CIO-aligned engineering teams

Technical Enablement & Training:

• Deliver training sessions, workshops, and technical guidance to engineering teams
• Develop enablement materials including documentation, playbooks, and quick-start guides
• Upskill teams on GenAI techniques such as prompt engineering, RAG design, and orchestration frameworks

REQUIREMENTS:

• To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed
• Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
