Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with 12+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD automation, containerization, infrastructure as code, and production operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and highly available cloud infrastructure while improving deployment automation and engineering efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-grade DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Automate build, deployment, configuration, and infrastructure provisioning processes.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
• Manage cloud infrastructure across AWS and/or Azure.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
• Build and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Manage Kubernetes deployments, services, ingress, configuration, secrets, and scaling.
• Implement automated monitoring, logging, alerting, and production support processes.
• Work with development, QA, security, and architecture teams to enable continuous delivery.
• Implement DevSecOps practices including vulnerability scanning, security controls, and compliance automation.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across application, infrastructure, networking, and deployment environments.
• Develop automation scripts using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Manage source-code repositories and branching strategies using Git.
• Implement infrastructure monitoring and observability using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk, or CloudWatch.
• Participate in production deployments, incident management, root-cause analysis, and disaster recovery activities.
• Establish DevOps best practices, standards, documentation, and automation frameworks.
• Mentor junior DevOps engineers and provide technical leadership.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of hands-on DevOps / Cloud Engineering experience
• Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation
• Strong knowledge of AWS and/or Azure
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker
• Strong experience with Terraform / Infrastructure as Code
• Strong knowledge of Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps
• Strong Linux/Unix administration experience
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell scripting
• Strong Git and source-code management experience
• Experience with cloud networking, IAM, security, and compute services
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability
• Strong understanding of DevSecOps and cloud security
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AWS EKS / Azure AKS
• Experience with Helm and Kubernetes Operators
• Experience with Ansible
• Experience with Prometheus and Grafana
• Experience with ELK/Elastic Stack or Splunk
• Experience with SonarQube, Nexus, or JFrog Artifactory
• Experience implementing security scanning such as Snyk, Veracode, Checkmarx, or Trivy
• Experience with microservices and API-based architectures
• Knowledge of networking concepts including DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, load balancers, and firewalls
• Experience with cloud migration and modernization projects
• Relevant AWS/Azure/Kubernetes certifications are a plus

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
