Manager, Finance & Accounting - Temporary Remote

Abbott seeks a Finance Manager to support commercial and marketing operations for its Lingo biosensing division in Alameda, California. The role focuses on financial planning, forecasting, analytics, and business decision support for the North America P&L, with responsibility for process improvement and team leadership.

Responsibilities
Develop and strengthen North America P&L and balance sheet forecasts for Plan, rLBE, and Confirm processes
Prepare timely sales results, financial statements, projections, and trend analyses for senior leadership review
Identify and present meaningful analytics and insights to support strategic decision-making
Support long-range financial planning, portfolio management, and ROI tracking across business initiatives
Build financial tools and reports for commercial proposals, new product launches, and promotional programs
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics; MBA preferred
Minimum 7 years finance and supervisory experience in FP&A, cost accounting, or financial reporting
Expertise in financial planning, analysis, and control systems implementation
Strong knowledge of integrated financial analysis, reporting standards, and GAAP principles
Experience with financial forecasting, budgeting, and P&L management
Excellent analytical, presentation, and people management skills
