Senior Business Systems Analyst

Overview

The Senior Business Systems Analyst will perform enterprise-level business, IT, and data systems analysis to support strategic and operational initiatives. The role requires strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex business needs into clear requirements and actionable technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand challenges and translate them into effective technology and data solutions.

• Serve as a business relationship manager for assigned functional areas and support organizational change.

• Collaborate with IT, data, project management, QA, and other technical teams to develop clear, complete, and testable requirements.

• Create and maintain business requirements, functional requirements, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.

• Bridge the gap between business and technical teams by translating technical concepts into business terms and business needs into technical requirements.

• Lead process improvement, systems reengineering, and root-cause analysis initiatives to improve quality and efficiency.

• Support enterprise system integration and interoperability across applications, data, and business processes.

• Conduct research and develop integration requirements aligned with governance and enterprise standards.

• Support digital transformation initiatives, strategic planning, and organizational change.

• Manage expectations across stakeholders, vendors, project teams, and leadership.

• Promote adherence to established IT, data, and business governance practices.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Business Systems Analysis / Business Analysis.

• Expertise in requirements gathering, documentation, and user stories.

• Experience with systems integration, data, process improvement, and digital transformation.

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

• Understanding of IT and data governance practices.
