Platform Engineer with Databricks Experience

Role: Sr Databricks Platform Automation Engineer

Location: Remote

Duration: 12 Months

Job description:

Design, implement, and support Databricks platform capabilities, including workspace provisioning, RBAC and access management, Unity Catalog administration, cluster and compute governance, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), CI/CD pipelines, and Databricks Asset Bundle (DAB) deployments.

Develop automation for workspace lifecycle management, user onboarding, service principals, and environment configuration.

Support deployment and operationalization of Databricks workloads, including Genie Agents, workflows, jobs, and data products.

Partner with cloud, security, and data engineering teams to establish scalable, secure, and governed platform standards.

Required Skills:

Databricks Administration & Platform Engineering, Terraform / Infrastructure as Code, Unity Catalog & Data Governance, RBAC, IAM, SCIM, Service Principals, Databricks Asset Bundles (DAB), Genie Agent Deployment & Automation, CI/CD, Git, Azure DevOps or GitHub, AWS (preferred) or Azure Cloud , Python/Scripting & Platform Automation

Experience:

5+ years Cloud Platform Engineering and 3+ years hands-on Databricks Platform Administration and Automation.
