Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with 12+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, automation, containerization, and production support. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with AWS/Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Jenkins, Git, Linux, Python, and infrastructure automation.

The candidate will be responsible for designing and maintaining scalable infrastructure, automating deployment processes, improving system reliability, and collaborating with development, QA, security, and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain highly available cloud infrastructure.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for application build, testing, and deployment.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and Ansible.
• Manage and troubleshoot Kubernetes and Docker environments.
• Deploy and support microservices-based applications.
• Implement infrastructure and application monitoring, logging, and alerting.
• Automate repetitive operational tasks using Python and Shell scripting.
• Manage source-code repositories, branching strategies, and release processes.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to improve deployment processes.
• Implement security controls throughout the DevOps lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Support application releases, upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure changes.
• Implement disaster recovery, backup, and high-availability strategies.
• Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, scalability, reliability, and cost.
• Maintain infrastructure documentation, deployment procedures, and operational standards.
• Mentor junior DevOps engineers and provide technical guidance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 12+ years of professional IT/DevOps experience.
• Strong enterprise cloud and automation experience.
• Experience supporting production environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with financial services, healthcare, retail, or other enterprise environments is a plus.
