Position: Senior Full Stack Developer (Node.js/TypeScript/GraphQL)

Location: New York, NY (Hybrid – 4 days onsite per week)

Duration: DIRECT HIRE – FULL TIME

Skills/Experience Needed:

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience building customer-facing products from front end through backend.

• Strong full-stack development experience using Node.js and TypeScript.

• Experience building resilient APIs that support critical user workflows.

• Hands-on experience with GraphQL and TypeScript within middleware or service layers.

• Experience delivering high-quality web and mobile product experiences.

• Experience building reusable frameworks, white-label solutions, shared components, or multi-tenant architectures.

• Proficiency with modern AI-assisted or agentic development tools, such as Claude Code.

• Experience operating with autonomy and making sound technical decisions in complex environments.

• Strong understanding of performance, privacy, reliability, accessibility, and secure product development.

Summary

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to build reliable, secure, and high-performing products that support patient and clinician experiences.

This role will lead the development of reusable components and resilient architectures across a portfolio of AI-powered healthcare products. The engineer will own features across web and mobile-facing experiences, middleware APIs, and backend services while maintaining high standards for performance, accessibility, privacy, and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable product architectures with a focus on modularity, reusability, security, and resilience.

• Own the complete development lifecycle of products and features across user-facing applications, APIs, and backend services.

• Build resilient APIs and middleware using TypeScript and GraphQL.

• Develop and support backend services, including Kotlin/JVM-based systems.

• Create shared libraries, frameworks, and domain-specific languages that support repeatable deployments across multiple products and partners.

• Establish engineering standards for performance, accessibility, data privacy, and code quality.

• Use modern agentic AI development tools to improve engineering productivity and delivery quality.

• Clarify ambiguous technical requirements, make informed architectural decisions, and mitigate delivery risks.

• Mentor engineers and promote ownership, technical excellence, and continuous improvement.
