Job Number: R0251800 ServiceNow Developer, Junior The Opportunity: Join Booz Allen Hamilton's internal IT organization as an entry-level ServiceNow Developer and help shape the technology and digital experiences that enable our employees and business operations. As part of a collaborative technology team, you will contribute to the development, enhancement, and support of Booz Allen's ServiceNow platform, helping transform business processes, streamline workflows, and deliver innovative solutions to internal stakeholders.

In this role, you will apply foundational programming, scripting, and problem-solving skills gained through your academic coursework to develop practical technology solutions. Working alongside experienced developers, platform administrators, architects, and business partners, you will gain hands-on experience designing, developing, testing, and enhancing ServiceNow applications and platform capabilities.

You will help translate business needs into effective technical solutions, build and refine application logic, automate manual processes, improve the employee experience, and support the security, reliability, and performance of the platform. You will also learn how to leverage ServiceNow's native capabilities and development best practices to deliver scalable, maintainable solutions that maximize the value of the platform and its return on investment.

You Have

• Experience a programming or scripting language through in academic environments, such as JavaScript, Python, Java, or C#
• Knowledge of programming concepts gained through academic coursework, including variables, data types, conditional logic, loops, functions, and object-oriented programming
• Knowledge of databases, relational data, SQL, and how applications interact with and manipulate data
• Ability to analyze technical problems, develop logical solutions, troubleshoot issues, and apply structured thinking
• Ability to learn new technologies, development frameworks, and enterprise platforms
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly, collaborate with team members, and contribute effectively in a team environment
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a technology field Nice If You Have:
• Experience with project management, change management, process improvement, or customer management
• Experience utilizing artificial intelligence such as prompt engineering, and machine learning to address program problems
• Experience with SQL, API, and integrations

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $53,000.00 to $108,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
