Job Qualifications and Responsibilties for AWS Cloud Architect:

• Design secure, scalable, and resilient AWS cloud architectures for enterprise applications.
• Lead cloud migration strategies, including assessment, planning, execution, and optimization.
• Develop cloud governance standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines.
• Architect highly available and disaster recovery solutions.
• Design networking solutions using VPCs, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, VPN, and hybrid connectivity.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance with state and federal security standards.
• Optimize AWS environments for performance, availability, security, and cost efficiency.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and observability using CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and AWS Config.
• Design CI/CD pipelines and automate infrastructure deployments.
• 10+ years of IT infrastructure and cloud architecture experience.
• 7+ years of hands-on AWS architecture and implementation experience.
• Experience designing enterprise-scale cloud solutions.
• Experience leading cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of AWS Well-Architected Framework.
• Experience working in large government, public sector, healthcare, or financial environments is highly preferred.
