Job Title: Google Cloud Platform Architect
Location: Dearborn, MI (Onsite)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Architect with a strong background in cloud architecture, specifically in Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform). The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and efficient cloud solutions. As a Technical Architect, you will play a critical role in guiding our technical teams and ensuring that our cloud infrastructure aligns with business objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement cloud architecture solutions on Google Cloud Platform that meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to define technical requirements and translate them into architectural designs.
• Lead the development of cloud migration strategies and execution plans.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, ensuring best practices in cloud architecture.
• Conduct architectural reviews and assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in cloud technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Document architectural designs, processes, and best practices for future reference.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong knowledge and experience as a Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect.
• Proficiency in designing and deploying cloud native applications and services.
• Experience with cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks.
• Expertise in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Google Cloud Deployment Manager.
• Strong understanding of networking, storage, and compute services in Google Cloud Platform.
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize cloud environments for performance and cost efficiency.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go.
• Experience with data management and analytics services in Google Cloud Platform.
• Certifications in related technologies or methodologies (e.g., TOGAF, ITIL) are a plus.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10 15 years of experience in IT, with a focus on cloud architecture and solutions.
• Proven track record of successful cloud implementations and migrations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
