Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Java Spring Boot / Google Cloud Platform API Developer with 6+ years of experience in Java, Spring Boot, Google Cloud Platform, API development, and microservices. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, integrating, and migrating enterprise APIs and cloud-based applications.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop scalable Java Spring Boot APIs and microservices on Google Cloud Platform.
  • Design integration solutions connecting APIs with databases, search engines, and third-party systems.
  • Develop and maintain API services, routing solutions, CRUD operations, and integration scenarios.
  • Design and implement migration/re-platforming strategies from existing APIs to modern Java-based API services.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and software designs.
  • Apply software engineering principles, design patterns, integration patterns, data modeling, and performance optimization.
  • Collaborate with offshore and onsite teams and provide technical guidance to senior developers.
  • Maintain code repositories and coordinate automated build and deployment processes.
  • Define implementation processes, quality gates, coding standards, and development best practices.
  • Work in Agile environments using JIRA, Jenkins, version control, and code quality tools.
Required Skills
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
  • Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) and Google Cloud Platform-based application development.
  • Strong experience in API design, development, integration, and routing.
  • Hands-on experience with REST APIs, Web Services, and Microservices.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, Google BigQuery, and Google Cloud Platform instances.
  • Knowledge of design patterns, integration patterns, data modeling, and caching/performance improvements.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA, Jenkins, Git/version control, and code quality tools.
  • Experience developing routing algorithms and API services using Java technologies.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work with onsite and offshore teams.
