Location: Burbank, CA
Employment Type: Full-Time, In-Office
Compensation: $20 - $25 per hour, DOE

About the Role

Block LLP is looking for a motivated, organized, and dependable Administrative Assistant to join our growing team.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys staying organized, supporting a busy team, and making sure things get done. You will provide day-to-day administrative support across the firm, assist with documents and scheduling, maintain organized records, and help our attorneys and staff operate efficiently.

We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, pays close attention to detail, communicates professionally, and is comfortable balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced office environment.

What You’ll Do

Administrative Support

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to attorneys, management, and other members of the firm
  • Prepare, scan, copy, organize, and maintain documents and records
  • Assist with data entry and ensure information is entered accurately
  • Draft and format basic correspondence, emails, and internal documents
  • Maintain organized electronic and physical files
  • Assist with scheduling meetings, appointments, and conference rooms
  • Track outstanding administrative tasks and follow up as needed
  • Help ensure documents and requests are routed to the appropriate team members
  • Assist with special projects and other administrative assignments as needed

Office & Team Support

  • Help coordinate meetings, team activities, and office events
  • Receive and distribute mail, packages, and deliveries
  • Assist with ordering and maintaining office supplies
  • Communicate with vendors and service providers when needed
  • Help maintain an organized and professional office environment
  • Provide additional support to the front desk when needed
  • Work collaboratively with different departments to support day-to-day operational needs

Organization & Communication

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
  • Communicate professionally with clients, vendors, and team members
  • Prioritize assignments and manage multiple deadlines
  • Proactively follow up on pending tasks and requests
  • Identify opportunities to improve organization and administrative processes
  • Previous administrative, office, or professional support experience
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Dependable, punctual, and professional
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks at once
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
  • Proactive mindset and willingness to take initiative
  • Strong computer skills, including email and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to learn new software and systems quickly
  • Professional judgment and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Positive attitude and team-oriented approach

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous Administrative Assistant or Office Assistant experience
  • Experience working in a law firm or other professional office environment
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
  • Experience with document management or case management software is a plus
