Job Description

Senior Systems Administrator | Hazelwood, MO, United States | Hybrid | $92,300.00 - $166,850.00 This employer is a leading technology solutions provider for government and commercial clients, recognized for driving innovation in digital and mission-critical services. They are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Administrator to join a dynamic team supporting intelligence and geospatial initiatives in a classified environment. This role offers the chance to work on impactful projects and contribute to national security. The Role • Lead system administration for Linux and Windows-based systems in secure, mission-critical environments. • Architect and manage complex server, storage, and virtualization infrastructure. • Perform OS installation, configuration, hardening, and patching in compliance with security standards. • Monitor and tune system performance, conduct root cause analysis, and resolve complex issues. • Support backup, disaster recovery, and continuity of operations. • Oversee and maintain automation scripts and infrastructure as code. • Mentor junior administrators and collaborate with cross-functional teams. What You'll Need • US citizenship is required. • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with 8-12 years of experience, or equivalent experience. • Active Top Secret clearance, with the ability to obtain TS/SCI with Polygraph. • DoD 8570 IAT Level II or III certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CASP+, CISSP). • Experience with Linux and Windows Server administration, virtualization platforms, and automation/scripting. • Familiarity with STIG compliance, hardening, and RMF processes. • Experience supporting classified IC or DoD environments.
