The Role • Lead system administration for both Linux and Windows-based systems within secure, mission-critical environments. • Architect and manage complex server, storage, and virtualization infrastructure (e.g., VMware, KVM). • Perform OS installation, configuration, hardening, and patching in accordance with strict security guidelines and policies. • Monitor and tune system performance, conduct root cause analysis, and efficiently resolve complex issues. • Support backup/recovery strategies, disaster recovery plans, and continuity of operations. • Oversee and maintain automation scripts and infrastructure as code (e.g., Ansible, PowerShell, Bash). What You'll Need • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline with 8-12 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s with 6-10 years. Additional experience in lieu of a degree is acceptable. • Active Top Secret clearance required, with the ability to obtain TS/SCI with Polygraph. • DoD 8570 IAT Level II or III certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CASP+, CISSP). • Proven experience with Linux (Red Hat Enterprise Linux or CentOS) and Windows Server administration. • Proficiency with virtualization platforms (VMware, KVM) and management tools. • Experience with automation and scripting languages (Ansible, Bash, PowerShell, Python).
