Responsibilities

• Design and develop new platform capabilities while ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of the Connected Living GraphQL middleware platform.
• Collaborate closely with fellow engineers to build, enhance, and maintain core GraphQL services (subgraphs) and supporting infrastructure.
• Drive improvements in automation, developer tooling, and onboarding documentation for service adopters and subgraph contributors.
• Participate in on-call rotations, incident response, and root-cause analysis for platform-level issues.

Basic Qualifications

• Over 10+ Years of experience
• 5+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong focus on API design and development (REST or GraphQL) using Java and/or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Proven expertise in building, scaling, and operating GraphQL/REST APIs in production, with hands-on experience developing and integrating microservices architectures.
• Demonstrated experience in automation, CI/CD pipelines in GitHubActions/Jenkins or similar, and improving developer productivity and release workflows.
• Track record of delivering projects end-to-end from design and implementation to testing and documentation.
• Strong commitment to continuous learning, collaboration, and knowledge sharing within engineering teams.
• Experience with monitoring, observability, and troubleshooting in distributed systems.
• Practical experience deploying and maintaining services on AWS or other major public clouds.
