Cloud Engineer – Azure

Location: Audubon, PA 19403   Hybrid 2 times per week

Job Type: Full-Time / Contract (as applicable)

Key Responsibilities

  • Deploy, manage, and support Azure infrastructure, including virtual networks, storage, Key Vault, compute, identity, security, and platform services.
  • Collaborate with internal customers and cloud operations teams to deploy cloud applications and services.
  • Evaluate architectural designs and technical requirements against organizational standards.
  • Support cloud migration initiatives by integrating cloud-native technologies with existing on-premises infrastructure.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
  • Manage complex Azure environments spanning multiple business units, subscriptions, and services.
  • Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to establish cloud governance, operational processes, and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Azure infrastructure issues related to connectivity, deployments, and configurations.
  • Implement security controls using Private Link, Network Security Groups (NSGs), firewalls, encryption, RBAC, and managed identities.
  • Leverage automation and monitoring to improve cloud security, operational efficiency, and reliability.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
  • Hands-on experience building and maintaining Azure-based infrastructure.
  • Strong understanding of Azure networking, compute, storage, identity, and security services.
  • Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
  • Knowledge of Azure security controls, access management, and infrastructure troubleshooting.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Azure Databricks.
  • Experience with Azure Red Hat OpenShift (ARO).
  • Experience with Azure App Services.
  • Working knowledge of Python or similar scripting languages.
  • Familiarity with Azure Policy and Microsoft Defender for Cloud.
