The Role

• Provide in-person, online, or hybrid tuition in Maths, English, or Science to young people with SEND/SEMH needs.
• Support pupils from KS1 to KS5, planning and delivering flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
• Plan lessons, report on activities, and provide regular feedback on student progress.
• Work with diverse learners and contribute to our mission of raising the standard of education for young people with additional needs.
• Offers opportunities for flexible hours, from part-time to full-time, to suit your schedule.

What You'll Need

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS).
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, ideally with SEND or SEMH students.
• Familiarity with teaching core subjects: English, Maths, and/or Science.
• Enhanced DBS check (assistance provided if needed) and 2 professional references.
• A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable learners and a commitment to trauma-informed practice.
• Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and creating a safe learning environment.
