The Role • Operate specialized equipment (hostlers, cranes, top loaders, side loaders) to move shipping containers. • Load and unload containers safely and efficiently from railcars and trucks. • Perform pre- and post-operation equipment inspections to ensure safety and functionality. • Coordinate with yard personnel and supervisors to manage daily logistics operations. • Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to established safety protocols. • Contribute to the smooth flow of freight by ensuring accurate and timely container handling. What You'll Need • A valid driver’s license is mandatory for this position. • Previous experience operating heavy equipment or machinery in a logistics or industrial setting is preferred. • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks. • Strong commitment to safety and a keen eye for detail. • Willingness to work flexible schedules, including all shifts, weekends, and holidays. • Basic communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
