Job Description

We are hiring a Logistics Analyst to support transportation, inventory, distribution, and operational planning activities in Dallas, TX. This role is responsible for analyzing logistics data, monitoring key performance indicators, identifying operational trends, and supporting process improvements across the supply chain.

The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical skills with a practical understanding of logistics and supply chain operations. The role requires close collaboration with operations, transportation, warehouse, procurement, and business teams.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze transportation, inventory, shipment, and logistics data.
  • Monitor logistics KPIs, costs, service levels, and operational performance.
  • Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports for management and operations teams.
  • Identify trends, variances, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support transportation planning, routing, and shipment optimization.
  • Track inventory levels and investigate inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate operational data and reporting dashboards.
  • Work with internal teams and logistics partners to resolve operational issues.
  • Develop and maintain Excel-based reports and analytical models.
  • Support forecasting, demand planning, and capacity analysis.
  • Assist with process improvement initiatives and cost-reduction efforts.
  • Maintain documentation related to logistics processes and performance metrics.

Required Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, operations, or business analytics.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, lookups, and data analysis.
  • Experience working with logistics, transportation, inventory, or operational data.
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Ability to analyze large datasets and communicate findings clearly.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work on-site in Dallas, TX.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SQL or business intelligence tools.
  • Experience with Power BI or Tableau.
  • Familiarity with ERP, WMS, or TMS platforms.
  • Experience with SAP, Oracle, or similar enterprise systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Analytics, Operations, or a related field.
