Overview

We are seeking a .NET Developer to design, develop, test, and support enterprise applications within a complex Integrated Eligibility System environment. This role will translate business requirements and system designs into scalable technical solutions while collaborating with architects, technical leads, and cross-functional teams.

Duties

• Translate business requirements and use cases into enterprise application solutions.
• Develop and unit test applications based on technical requirements, architecture principles, and established development standards.
• Work with technical leads and architects to transform high-level and low-level system designs into technical components.
• Develop full-stack applications using modern object-oriented programming languages and frameworks.
• Build reusable code, libraries, platform components, and shared services.
• Develop and maintain web services, database components, and web applications.
• Ensure developed applications and technical work products align with business needs, system designs, and project plans.
• Support application integration, testing, troubleshooting, and technical issue resolution.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, technical leads, business teams, and other stakeholders.
• Perform other related development duties as assigned.

Mandatory Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience working on complex projects, including 2+ years of experience in a leadership role as a Developer.
• 7+ years of experience using multiple technologies and frameworks to achieve project goals and adapting to new development tools as needed.
• 7+ years of hands-on full-stack development experience using modern object-oriented programming languages, preferably .NET/C#, for web services, database, and/or web application development.
• 4+ years of experience working within an Integrated Eligibility System program across multiple workstreams, including Fair Hearings, in a Health and Human Services environment.
• Strong experience translating business requirements and use cases into technical application solutions.
• Experience developing applications based on technical requirements, system design, architecture principles, and development standards.
• Experience collaborating with technical leads and architects to translate high-level and low-level designs into technical components.
• Experience developing reusable code, libraries, platform components, and shared services.
• Experience performing unit testing and validating developed applications against business and technical requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Associate’s degree or combination of experience and education.

Desirable Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience developing and maintaining applications using distributed version control and code quality tools such as Azure DevOps, Git, and SonarQube, including Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery practices.
• 5+ years of experience developing applications using .NET Core, .NET 6, and/or .NET 8.
• 7+ years of experience developing web applications using MVC patterns and Angular.
• 5+ years of experience developing, building, and testing Java EE applications using modern integrated development environments.
• 7+ years of experience performing database operations, optimization, and maintenance using SQL Server and Oracle.
• 4+ years of experience developing and integrating Web APIs and JSON.
