Title: Servicenow Test Engineer (ATF)

Responsibilities

• Test Planning & Execution: Analyze business and technical requirements to design, write, and execute comprehensive test cases and test plans.
• ServiceNow Testing: Perform functional, regression, smoke, and user acceptance testing across core ServiceNow modules.
• Automation Development: Build and maintain automated test scripts using the ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF) and external tools like Selenium or Postman.
• Upgrade Validation: Validate and test periodic ServiceNow version upgrades and patches.
• Defect Management: Identify, log, track, and retest defects using tools like JIRA; lead or participate in defect triage meetings.
• Integration Testing: Test inbound/outbound REST/SOAP APIs and integrations between ServiceNow and external enterprise systems.
• Collaboration: Work closely with ServiceNow developers, business analysts, and product owners in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: 7+ years of total IT experience, with at least 2+ years specifically focused on testing ServiceNow applications and workflows.
• Platform Knowledge: Strong grasp of ServiceNow architecture, forms, client/server scripts, UI policies, business rules, and Access Control Lists (ACLs).
• Automation Skills: Hands-on experience with ServiceNow ATF and general automation tools (Selenium, Java, Python, or Postman).
• Testing Fundamentals: Solid understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), test management tools (JIRA, qTest, or HP ALM), and Agile methodologies.
• Communication: Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and interpersonal skills.
