Investment Banking Associate

Private Capital Advisory | London

We are working with a leading independent advisory platform to appoint an Associate within its Private Capital Advisory team in London. The group is recognised for advising financial sponsors, founder-led businesses, and institutional investors on complex capital raises across the capital structure.

This is an opportunity to join a high-performing team with strong deal flow across Europe, working closely with senior bankers on the origination and execution of private capital transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the execution of private capital raises including debt, equity, and hybrid solutions for corporate and sponsor clients
  • Develop and maintain detailed financial models, valuation analysis, and investor materials
  • Participate in all aspects of transaction execution including structuring, due diligence, and investor engagement
  • Prepare marketing materials such as teasers, information memoranda, and management presentations
  • Coordinate internal and external stakeholders across live deal processes
  • Contribute to origination efforts through market analysis and preparation of pitch materials

Candidate Profile
  • 3 to 6 years of experience within investment banking, private capital advisory, leveraged finance, or a related role
  • Strong track record of involvement in M&A and or capital markets transactions, with demonstrable execution experience
  • Advanced financial modelling and valuation skill set, including LBO and returns analysis
  • Experience preparing client-facing materials and managing workstreams independently
  • Strong commercial judgement with the ability to understand transaction rationale beyond technical analysis
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact confidently with senior stakeholders

Offering
  • Exposure to a broad range of private capital transactions across sectors and geographies
  • Close interaction with senior bankers and direct client exposure from day one
  • Entrepreneurial and collaborative team environment
  • Clear progression path within a growing advisory platform

This role will suit an Associate looking to deepen their exposure to private capital markets within a dynamic advisory environment.
