This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Compliance Manager to join a well-established construction contractor in a varied and responsible role. The business is looking for someone who can take ownership of its compliance systems, work closely with the Directors and play an important role in maintaining and improving operations across the business.

As Compliance Manager, you will oversee compliance activities across two businesses, taking responsibility for ISO systems, industry accreditations, subcontractor onboarding, training coordination and HR administration. You will also work directly with the Directors, providing operational and administrative support while managing an existing member of the team.

This role would suit an experienced Compliance Manager, Compliance Officer or Construction Office Manager who enjoys variety and taking responsibility. Experience managing construction accreditations such as CHAS, SMAS and Constructionline would be highly beneficial, alongside strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently.

The Role:

• Managing company compliance systems, ISO standards and industry accreditations

• Overseeing subcontractor onboarding, training records, right-to-work checks and HR administration

• Supporting Directors with business administration, fleet management and operational compliance

• Managing a team member and overseeing compliance across two offices, with monthly travel

The Person:

• Experience within construction compliance, office management or a similar role

• Strong organisational, administrative and communication skills

• Experience within main contracting, subcontracting or specialist construction advantageous

• Proactive, reliable and comfortable taking ownership of a varied role

• Able to commute to Dartford and travel occasionally
